I titled the piece 'Source Material' because it consisted of hundreds of the ephemeral images that make up the artwork I create. I did have a proper cluster of paintings, but also wanted to explore the freedoms again of getting lost in the installation process. A lot of the time for me the actual process of working is more rewarding than the actual outcome. I can enjoy and relish the subtle nuances that occur in the building up of the layers.

Sea Legs -November 21st 2009
Sea Legs Exhibition @ Say It Loud! in Orlando. I really got stoked on the name for the show, and went with what I know and love, my family history with the ocean. There are some previous pieces thrown in there, but I also included family fishing photos, some nautical flag experiments, and lots of personal hidden meanings of objects..Symbols you can gather from objects, words, numbers..Stoked!!
Special thanks to Sean Hartman Scott Donald and Tonya Dickie for all their hard work..

Logos, Lore & More - July 2009
Below are some pictures from the Window Installation Logos, Lore & More I hung @ the Urban Outfitters in Ybor City, yesterday. The whole piece consists of over 350 different pieces, I actually never took a count. The process was so much fun, getting lost in the composition for 8 hours or so. I had no set plan going in as far as which piece goes where, but wanted to let it unfold in it's own way. I want to thank Jen Gilanfarr for hooking me up with the window stickers, Samantha Sothman for the opportunity, and Angus Shafer for coming out and doing a write up for his blog.

Contain It! Installation Festival in Dunedin, Fl on February 13th and 14th. Had an awesome time installing this old workshop of Ricky Young inside of a Pods container. Met some cool artists and people. Thanks to the Dunedin Fine Arts Cener and Kaya Jill for everything. Also Mindy Solomon and her family for putting me up.
Almost Stricly Blues- March 1 2008
Almost strictly blues took place in Lakeland and was put on through Platform Florida The show turned out amazing due to the fact that we were given a room to ourselves with full license to create what we wanted. I must have put 200 holes in the wall hanging everything. A great experience, and even a Best in Show award to show for it.
Alter Egos Are Great- June 2007
An outdoor found wood installation @ The Projects Wakeboard & Wakeskate camp where I live and work. I used a massive amount ot scrap wood to fill this over 30 ft long wooden rail gapthat spans the road out to the rail park.
